Programme profile


This programme will enable students to understand and analyse the international environment and context in which private enterprises and public institutions are operating. Based the core courses such as economics, finance, law, economic integration and quantitative methods, students will be provided with an in-depth assessment of the structure of economic, financial, legal and marketing systems from an international perspective.

Students will be given the opportunity of choosing to specialise in either Economics of Central and Eastern Europe or in International Business Management.

Core Modules:
International Economics, Philosophy or Sociology, Finance, Economic Geography or Economic History, European Integration, Theory of State, Macroeconomics, Mathematics, Microeconomics, Basics of Law, Economic and Social Policy, Accounting, Statistics, Introduction to Business Information Systems, Management, Econometrics, International Finance, Corporate Finance, World Economy, International Marketing, International Competitiveness of Economy, International Business Transactions, International Organisations, International Financial Settlements, Management in International Business, Single European Market, International Private Law.

Specialisation Modules:
Economics of Central and Eastern Europe: Transition Economics, Transnational Corporations, Business in Central and Eastern Europe, Poland in the European Union, European Economics International Business Management: Business Ethics, International Accounting, IT in Business Strategy, Legal Aspects of Marketing in the European Union, Marketing of Places, Polish Companies in the European Union.

Students are required to complete two foreign language courses and additional electives.
