Programme profile


This programme will provide students with the fundamentals of economics, finance and management as well as with a set of analytically oriented courses in information and management sciences. Two specialisations, Econometrics and Decision Analysis Methods, will be offered, enabling the creation of a professional profile of an innovative and creative analyst. Graduates will be prepared in the use of quantitative analyses supported by computers in solving decision-making problems in a complex managerial global environment.

Core Modules:
International Economics, Philosophy or Sociology, Finance, Economic Geography or Economic History, European Integration or Theory of State, Macroeconomics, Mathematics, Microeconomics,, Basics of Law, Economic Social Policy, Accounting, Statistics, Introduction to Business Information Systems, Management, Algebra, Calculus,Probability Theory, Demography or Mathematical Economics, Deterministic Operations Research Models, Econometrics, Business Information Systems, Financial and Insurance Mathematics or Information System Design, Econometric Methods or Information System Design, Research Methods and Statistical Analysis


Specialisation Modules:
Econometrics: Time Series Analysis and Forecasting, Financial Econometrics, Applied Econometrics or Econometric Theory, Econometric Modeling in Microeconomics.
Decision Analysis Methods: Decision Rules, Optimisation Methods, Simulations in Spreadsheets, Econometric Modeling in Microeconomics.

Students are required to complete two foreign language courses and additional electives.
