Programme profile
This programme gives solid knowledge of mathematics and of using mathematics as a tool within areas such as computer science, technology and economics.. It contains courses in mathematics to a large extent, but to each specialization an applied subject is linked where mathematics is an important tool. These applications are within computer science, physics/technology and economy, respectively.
Programme content
This programme gives you exactly this! Besides courses in pure mathematics you study mathematical modelling, numerical methods, programming and statistics. Also in the maths courses you will use the very latest software; it will give you a deeper feeling for the subject. In three courses you will learn the mathematical methods in economy, encryption and mechanics. During the third and last year you choose between deeper studies in an application field or higher studies in mathematics
