Rey Juan Carlos University [URJC], is the youngest and most modern of all six public universities in the Madrid region. It currently has more than 38,000 students enrolled in its four campuses, located in Móstoles, Alcorcón, Fuenlabrada  and Vicálvaro (Madrid). The University has 4,212 international students (11%) from over a hundred countries from all over the World.

The campus in Fuenlabrada hosts the Faculties of Communication Sciences, Tourism Sciences and ETSIT (School of Telecommunications Engineering); the campus in Alcorcón hosts the Faculty of Health Science; the Mostoles campus hosts the School of Experimental Sciences and the School of Informatics; and the School of Social Sciences and Law is located in the Vicálvaro Campus.

Rey Juan Carlos University cooperates closely with the international scientific community and participates in teachers and students’ exchange programs, with 567 international agreements signed with various international universities.

Rey Juan Carlos University offers student accommodation at the José Pérez de Vargas university residence, located in the Vicálvaro Campus. Prices ranging from 300 to 350 Euro. Generally the rent of a single room in a private flat with shared cooking facilities costs about 200 Euro, full board 490 Eur
