Programme profile
The main objective of this programme is to deliver IT knowledge and specific skills needed for effective information systems management in a fast changing world. This programme focuses on the theoretical principles of computer science, algorithmics, computer programming, database systems and operating systems.
The programme has also been designed to provide students with knowledge about micro- and macroeconomics, management, business, corporate finance & other related issues.
Because the faculty is financed by the European Social Fund [ESF], students will get some added benefits, including free software on their computers, additional maths courses and paid internships.

Basic Courses: Mathematical analysis and linear algebra; Probability and statistics; numerical methods; Business law; Organisation and management; Economics; Corporate finance and economics; Accounting
Core Courses: Theoretical basis of computer science; Architecture of computer systems; Computer programming workshops; Introduction to information systems; Analysis and designing information systems; Analysis and designing of applications; Introduction to databases; E-business; Electronic data interchange; Operating systems; Computer networks
Software Engineering Specialisation: Management of IT enterprises; Administration of computer systems; Current trends in Computer Science; Concurrent and parallel programming; Integrated systems; Integrated System security; Knowledge management; Methods of data exploration; Research Methodology
General Courses: Sociology: Health & Safety and Ergonomics; Foreign Language; Physical Education

The University does not currently offer a related Masters programme, taught through English

3 A-levels (grades between A and E) + 3 GCSE (grades between A and C), to include Maths and a Language
